OK, OK. Before you get in a huff and puff and say that everything goes with cheese, we would beg to differ. For example, while “indulgent” dishes at chain restaurants can get away with combining seafood and cheese (ahem, Olive Garden), we wouldn’t really consider dairy and, say, lobster a good combo. Think about it: Would you ever really eat a fresh piece of lobster with cheese? No, we didn’t think so.

Other things that are not so yummy with queso? Citrus fruits. We’ll get back to you when we can think of something else, but in the meantime, please enjoy these foods that pair with all kinds of cheeses really well.

cheese pairings

Wine and cheese? It’s basically a pairing made in heaven. The best part about it is that this combo is a great way to start a party or just to unwind for the day. of course, the science behind the pairings may be a little tricky for some to master but just think of it this way: the richer (maybe stinkier) the cheese, the darker and drier the wine.
