Anyone who knows even just the teensiest bit of Spanish or French knows that “la merde” is no last name. After all, isn’t asking your teacher for a comprehensive list of all the ways you can swear in a foreign language the number one thing on every middle schooler’s to-do list?

With all these celebrity chefs with fancy French chefs with fancy French names in fancy French kitchens, it’s no wonder that someone justĀ had to poke fun at them.

In comes a hilarious new Instagram account that brings humor to the fine dining scene by combining “low-end” food (although, who thinks Jimmy Dean sausages are low end anyways?) with high profile assortments, flavors and techniques – one of them namely being “tweezering”.

What does it mean when something is “tweezered”? It’s basically how high end restaurants – especially gastro-cuisine establishments – choose to plate their minuscule portions of food. It’s the epitome of “too expensive for your paycheck” kinda meals.

In addition, it’s not only the plating and ingredients that have us laughing, but those captions, too. Wording everything in a way that echoes the intricate 4 star restaurant menus, you’ll surely let out a chuckle. We’re pretty sure half of these don’t make sense and we don’t have a care.
