The name of this post is a little ambiguous, but I just thought that it would accurately set up how/why you should try every single one of these recipes.
Fun fact: February is National Chocolate Month. Naturally – because I am perpetually single – I could not immediately put two and two together when trying to find out why February was dedicated to chocolate. And then I realized: Oh, yeah… VALENTINE’S DAY. According to some of my sources, Valentine’s Day is a day for love and romance, but I think it’s really just a great excuse to wear your finest pearls as you eat an exorbitant amount of chocolate and drink one too many bottles of wine on your own as you watch Pride & Prejudice for the umpteenth time and stare into the eyes of Mr. Darcy…
If there is a romance I do believe in, I think it would have to be the marriage of chocolate and peanut butter. Let’s be honest. There is no chocolate or candy bar as good as the REESE’s PEANUT BUTTER CUP or REESE’S PIECES. It’s chocolate. It’s peanut butter. It’s love.
However, because we all love to cook, bake and try new things, here is a round up of some chocolate peanut butter recipes that are calling our name and whispering sweet nothings in our ear this Valentine’s Day….
