It’s no mystery by now that despite global warming being real, there is no way around winter as of yet.
Of course, any old cocktail with good liquor will warm up, but what is better than a hot cocktail? I can’t think of anything that sounds as wonderful as a warm alcoholic beverage on a cold day, curled up in a blanket by the fire as you watch some bad television.
Luckily, the weekend is coming up as the temperatures are cooling down so these are great little experiments you can try in your kitchen ASAP.
My personal favorite? The hot toddy, of course! It doesn’t hurt that it’s technically medicinal, but maybe I made that up. I like to tell people that whisky is medicinal every time they look at me with a confused look on their face when they see me swig it at least. A hot toddy is less subtle…
