It’s National Hot Dog Month and it comes at perfect timing. Not only are we in the middle of summer but we’re in the midst of baseball season, too.
While watching the game is (quite literally) all fun and games, we think game food is equally as exciting – if not more. Sorry! When you’re at a stadium, all you need is a cold beer and a hot dog with ketchup, mustard and maybe relish and pickles if you’re looking to get really wild.
While I do believe that simple can oftentimes be better, sometimes it’s fun to get a little crazier – or maybe gluttonous – than usual. Did you know that there are countless different hot dogs around the country – and world – you can enjoy? Just like there are Chicago-style deep dish pizzas, there are Chi-Dogs, Colombian Dogs and many other different varieties on the tried and true wiener.
Take a look at some of the most mouth-watering options from around the world.
