Spring is in full swing and we’re certainly on the fast track to summer. This can mean only one thing: craving fresh and light dishes – or so they say…
As a matter of fact, May happens to be National Salad Month. Why a month needs to be dedicated to salad is a mystery, but then again there is a day dedicated only to cheese soufflé so I will not complain.
The problem with salads is that they can sometimes be a little blah. Don’t get me wrong, I love salad and I have one for lunch on most days, but they are hardly anything to write home about.
That’s why we’re switching things up. To celebrate the world-renowned holiday (JK) of National Salad Month, my goal is to make you rethink how you feel about salads. After all, a “salad” is really only a couple of ingredients jumbled up together and topped with dressing! Right? Right.
