Yeah, California! Finally, you’ll be able to have a little piece of New York heaven.
Shake Shack, the New York City burger place, will be opening West Hollywood in 2016. The company took to Twitter to announced the good news:

According to the Los Angeles Times, the location will be at the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and West Knoll Drive, wherever the hell that is…. “We’ve heard from our West Coast fans for years that they’d love a Shake Shack in California, and at long last, we’re delighted to say Shake Shack L.A. is on its way,” said Shake Shack CEO Randy Garutti in a press release. “Los Angeles is one of the greatest cities in the world with a culture like no other, and we look forward to being a part of the community.”
You Californians will finally get a taste of 100% natural, Angus beef burgers, because let’s face it, you’ve been so deprived of natural, delicious, and (semi) healthy foods.
We know how hard California tries to be like New York, so we’re glad to see the state is starting to catch up. Except, when the people in California go to Shake Shack, they can drive and actually find a parking spot (because there’s going to be a parking lot), and they will also most likely be basking in the sun while they enjoy their crinkle fries. TOTALLY NOT JEALOUS.
Ah, Hollywood, where dreams REALLY do come true.
