OK OK, I don’t ACTUALLY hate vegetables. As a matter of fact, I love them – huge fan. However, I understand why a lot of people find them atrocious. Let me tell you why: You’re cooking your veggies all wrong.

Of course your brussels sprouts taste gross if you’re only boiling them and serving right after. Could you imagine what a boiled lump of meat or chicken would taste like? Probably a flavorless mess.

Even if you are a meat lover, you will be able to find joy in vegetables if you make sure the recipes you are using are flavorful and interesting. Look, if the Queen of meats and NYC dining, April Bloomfield, can love her green so can you!

Asparagus is easy to whip up and delightfully satisfying. There are so many possible flavor profiles they can have, but we prefer either a drizzle of lemon and salt topped or garlic roasted and topped with parmesan.
